The Junior League of Baton Rouge, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Excellence Through Art For EXTRAordinary Kids - in partnership with McMains Children's Development Center. JLBR volunteers plan & organize a 1 week summer camp each June for children with disabilities.

Expanding the Minds of Tomorrow's Leaders - Volunteers plan & work a 1 day conference where business leaders assist East Baton Rouge Parish HS students in developing basic business skills. In spring, there's a seminar empowering girls ages 8-14.

Making Good Sports - in a joint partnership with LA Senior Olympic Games & Baton Rouge Wheelchair Association, JLBR works with LSOG competitions in the Fall and Pro Tennis Classic tennis competition every April.
